Jared is a native resident of the Pacific Northwest. He was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon in 2005. In May of 2010, he received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While at Cooley, Jared was an associate editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law and president of the Sports Law Society. He was also a member of the Disaster Relief Legal Association, serving as a volunteer for the New Orleans Public Defender's Office.

Jared served as a rule 9 intern for the Law Offices of Richard D. Seward during the winter and spring of 2010. He joined the Washington State Bar Association in October 2010. In practice, he focuses in the fields of estate planning, bankruptcy, business start-ups and real estate law.
